Director of Women's & Children's Services - Labor & Delivery Unit

Position Overview

As Director of Women's & Children's Services, you will lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care while driving operational excellence and maintaining the highest clinical standards in maternal and infant care.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource management
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain department accreditations
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care coordination
• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and quality metrics
• Participate in performance improvement activities and strategic planning

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
• Bachelor's degree required (BSN preferred)
• Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience in healthcare
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• NRP, FHM, and RNC-OB certifications preferred
• Strong understanding of perinatal care standards and best practices
