The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS' growing regional network of healthcare operations. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building, and a helistop. Upon completion, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. Job Description The Director of Cardiopulmonary Services is accountable for coordinating activities and providing clinical and administrative leadership and expertise in defined areas of the medical center. This role is responsible for the fiscal, operational, and personnel management of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Service departments. The Director develops budgets and business plans, contributes to the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the organization, and is accountable for the standards of care and practice in areas where Cardiovascular and Cardiac Stress/Echo/EKG Personnel practice. Responsibilities Coordinate activities and provide clinical and administrative leadership and expertise. Manage the fiscal, operational, and personnel aspects of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Service departments. Develop budgets and business plans for the respective areas. Current AHA ACLS Provider. Minimum 5 years experience in acute care setting with progressive responsibility. Computer skills knowledge of Outlook, Kronos, Cerner, Microsoft Office (preferred).
