Tax Director — this is a key role in helping lead the tax department, managing client relationships, and providing strategic tax planning and compliance services. This opportunity offers a flexible work schedule, work/life balance, competitive compensation, and benefits.

Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax department and manage client relationships.
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services.
• Mentor, motivate, and develop staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance tax services and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master\'s degree in taxation or CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax planning and compliance for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
• Strong technical expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with emphasis on partnership taxation.
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and integrity.
