Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Social Worker Director to oversee our social services department. This key role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting the emotional and psychosocial needs of our residents and their families. Social Worker Director Key Responsibilities : Lead and supervise the social services team, providing guidance and support. Conduct assessments and develop care plans to address residents' emotional, psychological, and social needs. Collaborate with the medical team to ensure holistic care for residents. Advocate for residents' rights and facilitate communication between families, residents, and staff. Manage crisis interventions and provide counseling services as needed. Oversee compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring social service standards are met. Provide support during discharge planning and transitions of care. Social Worker Director Qualifications : Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Active Social Worker license in New Jersey (LCSW preferred). Experience in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding social services in long-term care settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
