The Market Director of Sales is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving top-line revenue growth across a portfolio of hotels within a defined market. This role leads and supports property-level sales teams, executes multi-property sales strategies, and manages key relationships with owners and stakeholders. The position collaborates closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations to maximize performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive seller, strong team leader, and results-driven professional with experience in multi-unit hotel sales leadership. This role reports to the Regional Director of Sales and provides oversight to Area Directors, Directors of Sales, and Sales Managers at the property level. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners and asset managers, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales-related communications and performance reporting. • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning, partnering with revenue management and hotel leadership to align with market trends and maximize profitability. • Recruit, train, and develop top-performing sales talent, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and results. • Conduct regular site visits and coaching sessions to ensure adherence to brand sales standards, elevate team performance, and drive accountability. • Analyze sales performance metrics and market data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and capture new business opportunities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Excellent communication skills and relationship management, including owner relations. • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in hotel sales leadership, with preference for candidates who have led multi-property or above-property teams • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning. Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 yearly
