About the Role
The Company is seeking a Tax Managing Director for its Private Client Services. This role is pivotal in leading tax and consulting engagements, with a focus on high net-worth individuals and their complex financial needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive-level client service, reviewing and providing feedback on a variety of tax returns, and directing communication with government agencies on complex matters. They will also be expected to identify technical issues, conduct advanced tax research, and develop sound recommendations. The role requires a leader who can expand their understanding of tax concepts, prioritize and review work, and utilize strong analytical and decision-making skills to assist with client needs.
Candidates for the Tax Managing Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, at least 10 years' of experience in accounting, finance, or law, and a professional certification such as a CPA, EA, or equivalent. Expertise in the private client service area and prior supervisory experience are essential. The role demands a professional with a high level of initiative, strong communication, and leadership skills, and a proven track record in business development and people management.
