*Director of Quality Summary:*
Oversees all aspects of the organizations quality improvement efforts, such as developing and administrating the process, training and coaching staff in process improvement and facilitating change throughout the organization. Responsible for establishing quality related strategic plans, policies and procedures at all levels of the organization. Responsible for implementation and integration of quality process improvement efforts that will meet or exceed internal and external customers needs and expectations from beginning to cultural integration.
*Director of Quality Job Responsibilities:*
* Responsible to develop, implement and evolve a company-wide framework to support ongoing continuous performance improvement. Develop and facilitate quality and process improvement education curriculum.
* Manages Quality Steering Committee to support ongoing work redesign, system changes and identification and analysis of opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinates Risk Management activities for review through adverse health events, healthcare guidelines and reviews incident reports for trends and analysis for correlation with quality assurance / improvement activities.
* Facilitates, communicates and administers quality measurement activities. Applies statistical techniques to track and trend issues / results.
* Act as internal consultant to administration and management staff for development and direction for performance improvement efforts overall. Promotes quality initiatives with external customers and suppliers.
* Administrative responsibilities include budget preparation and management.
* Facilitates, communicates and supports the activities needed to obtain measurable results of continuous improvement, i.e., facilitation of process improvement teams, customer satisfaction surveys. Facilitates corrective/preventive action. Facilitate departments and groups in implementation of change.
* Enhance self-knowledge of quality initiatives through reading and participation in seminars, workshops, etc.
* Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
Service Quality Expectations
* Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) structure and standards, Health plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) requirements, and any accreditation standards.
* Use of analytic skills required.
* Knowledge of data management systems highly desired.
* Must possess high level of communication and interpersonal skills.

* Protocols and Policies - Demonstrates understanding of company-wide and department-specific policies and protocols.
*Job Qualifications*
* A licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited university/ college as a RN or related healthcare field. Masters degree from an accredited university/ college preferred.
* Minimum of ten years of business experience, and understanding of quality, process improvement, and measurement concepts.
* Three to five years experience in a healthcare quality system desired.
* Management and quality system experience required.
* Advanced knowledge of EHR/EMR such as eClinical Works.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
