Director of Marketing and Business Development Our client, a multidisciplinary consulting firm in Hudson Valley, New York, is currently seeking a full-time Director of Marketing and Business Development.

The Director will report to the President and work closely with senior leadership to lead the company’s marketing and business development initiatives. This position is ideal for candidates who have an existing network of contacts within the Hudson Valley, along with extensive experience in generating results for an established organization. This key management role includes the following responsibilities: Develop and implement marketing and business development plans supporting the firm’s strategic goals, market segments, and service lines. Assist in serving various market segments, including land surveying and development, land planning, landscape architecture, environmental health and safety services, as well as governmental, institutional, and industrial clients. Create, manage, and oversee the marketing budget. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of professionals. Plan and manage all business development activities, including sales support, speaking engagements, conferences, promotional events, and attending trade shows and other events as needed. Develop, contribute to, and review proposals. Manage the firm’s public relations, branding, and marketing communications, including marketing collateral, brochures, graphic design, advertising, project write-ups, and online presence. Qualifications for the Director role include: At least 10 years of marketing experience in the A/E industry. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in marketing, business, engineering, or a related technical field. Excellent communication, interpersonal, creative, and writing skills. Strong organizational and management skills; a team player who fosters a respectful environment. An external network of contacts and professional relationships in the Hudson Valley is a plus. A proven track record of creating and implementing marketing and business development plans that deliver measurable results aligned with strategic goals. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various events, offices, and appointments.
