Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Develop and implement comprehensive engineering strategies, ensuring alignment with our company's business goals and objectives. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of our tech services. Leverage your technical expertise to solve complex engineering problems and make strategic decisions. Work closely with other departments, including legal and operations, to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Mentor and coach team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers. Participate hands-on in the development process, contributing your coding skills and technical expertise. Ensure the successful execution of projects, managing risks, and resolving issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the tech industry, preferably in a startup environment. Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Ruby on Rails (RoR). Solid understanding of distributed systems and their challenges. Proven track record of managing and leading high-performing engineering teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects of the tech industry, including data privacy and intellectual property rights. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
