This is a Remote Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary of $150k a year, plus commission, a dynamic work culture, and excellent benefits (including 401k, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans, Health Savings Accounts, PTO, and more). The Director of Commercial and Key Accounts is responsible for leading and driving sales for C&I and light Utility projects. The role involves developing key strategies and procedures to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base for solar products. This position plays a crucial role in developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and promoting the company's solar solutions to foster business growth. Role & Responsibilities Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company sales goals, focusing on the C&I and light Utility markets. Develop strategies and networks for C&I US-made products by identifying key customers that benefit from a US-made solar supply partner. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solar solutions. Develop and manage internal resources to grow a successful C&I division within the sales team. Identify new market opportunities and target customer segments to expand market presence. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns effectively. Analyze and report sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform decision-making and improve sales strategies. Prepare sales forecasts and budget reports to monitor performance and align with financial goals. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase solar products and build industry connections. Ensure compliance with sales policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations. Skills & Experience Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in US commercial or Utility projects or senior sales roles, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. Proven track record of winning and growing business despite market challenges and competition.
