Position SummaryThe Director of Business Development at nuKudo will lead the company's efforts to develop and grow strategic partnerships, drive revenue through direct placements, and expand our client base. This is a results-driven role that requires proven success in meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with leadership, and delivers timely, data-backed reports on all business development activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Goal Execution- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Define and own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics for lead generation, partnership outreach, and placement conversion.
- Achieve and exceed set quotas related to direct placements, lead conversion, and revenue generation.
- Report on individual and team progress, challenges, and successes, with clear performance data and projections.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of current, cold, and new leads with detailed documentation in Salesforce (or other CRM).
- Provide weekly written and verbal reports to senior leadership on all sales activity, including conversion rates, projected closings, and feedback from prospective partners.
- Track and optimize engagement strategies for cold leads and reactivation campaigns.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with technology firms, cybersecurity service providers, and corporate clients.
- Represent nuKudo in high-impact meetings, conferences, and networking events to expand the company's visibility and client reach.
- Build custom staffing and placement solutions for enterprise clients and government entities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align service offerings with market demand and partner needs.
- Draft compelling business proposals and partnership agreements in alignment with nuKudo financial and operational goals.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients and partners, ensuring deals maximize profitability and long-term relationships.
- Support legal and executive review processes to finalize agreements.
- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team as the department scales.
- Cultivate a collaborative, data-driven, and goal-oriented team culture.
- Identify and implement tools and training needed to drive individual and team success.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships in tech, cybersecurity, staffing, and/or workforce development.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas and goals across short- and long-term timelines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), sales forecasting, and data analysis.
- Experience negotiating complex deals and working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
