Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing client relationships within an assigned territory in support of achievement of public relations programs and activities, order intake, and profitability objectives. Develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates sales strategies and business development plans to maximize top-line growth and profitability within the organization’s long-term care solution offerings. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the center’s admissions requirements, services, programs, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
Possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Communications, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration), preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in marketing, design, strategy, data collection, and analysis, required.
Five (5) years of experience working in long-term care facilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) years of experience working in consultative sales in healthcare or related industries, preferred.
Responsibilities
Builds and maintains partnerships with hospitals and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care; identifies and develops key referral sources; maintains or increases referrals to the community.
Builds and grows census and quality mix by developing the market, working with referral sources, and providing prospective residents with appropriate information and assistance. Drives business growth by meeting or exceeding census goals.
Develops and implements marketing strategies; manages daily activities to support and grow business within the territory; pursues new business opportunities.
Develops strategies for building relationships with physicians, physician groups, practice managers, and medical facility administration.
Manages relationships with key accounts, leverages existing client base, and pursues new opportunities.
Creates, implements, and manages resident programs to provide enrichment in clinical, social, and community services.
Collects customer data, analyzes interactions, and uses this information to improve marketing strategies and campaigns.
Reports on progress, tracks data, and analyzes performance.
May temporarily serve as marketing liaison during vacancies, when qualified.
Evaluates, develops, and implements policies and procedures aligned with corporate guidelines and marketing initiatives.
Monitors market activity and provides feedback to leadership.
Expands community base and referral relationships with senior-service organizations, discharge planners, rehabs, nursing homes, adult day cares, physicians, assisted living, and retirement communities.
Understands industry trends to differentiate and represent the company effectively.
Creates hospital plans focusing on CMS initiatives, Partner Networks, and Accountable Care Organizations.
Generates reports and documentation of marketing activities timely.
Builds relationships with key personnel managing Post-Acute Networks.
Maintains knowledge of the center’s products, services, capabilities, and physician relations.
