This role requires a compassionate leader who can balance clinical excellence with operational resources and constraints, which means a Registered Nurse who excels at embracing change and resilience and a willingness to go above and beyond.If being a part of a team that stands up for compassion in an industry that is often transactional resonates with you, then we want to hear from you!Clinical Director RN Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's degree.Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience, including the supervision of nursing staff in hospice.Minimum of three years of experience in hospice, home health, or a related organization, with an understanding of hospice care provided by an interdisciplinary team.Business-minded nurse leaderCompliance with accepted professional standards and practices.Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational, people, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge and understanding of reimbursement and appeal processes.Proficient in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Must have a reliable vehicle/transportation, a valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate the vehicle.Provide regular communication with hospice staff, including clinical staff, regarding pertinent organizational and clinical issues.Oversee the assessment, evaluation, intervention, and documentation of patient and family needs.Manage the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program as directed, including conducting quarterly Designated IDT/CQI and safety committee meetings, coordinating with committee members on assigned surveys and audits, ensuring the completion of all required audit results and reports, completing meeting minutes, and maintaining the CQI ManualEnsure the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) staffing meets the requirements of company ratios per census.Oversee the maintenance of patient/client clinical records, statistics, and reports for evaluation and reporting of agency activities, ensuring all patient medical record documentation complies with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
