Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) with at least 2 years of LTC management experience and a NE or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Interim Director of Nursing in a post-acute care setting
• Work at a 50-bed long-term care facility
• Day shift position with 8-hour shifts
• May be required to work on the floor if staffing gaps arise
• Uses PCC charting system
• Responsible for overseeing nursing operations and managing care delivery
• Must be willing to provide direct patient care during staffing shortages
• No BSN required for consideration
• Role is for a temporary, interim assignment

Requirements

• Active NE or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of LTC management experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with PCC charting system preferred
