Tax Senior Manager or Director - T&E [Trust & Estate] at CohnReznick Professional Services Pvt Ltd

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join our Trust & Estate Tax team within our National Tax practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm. This position is considered remote and does not require duties to be performed at a CohnReznick office, though you may be required to be present at an office with notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Responsibilities

• Review complex gift, estate and fiduciary income tax returns
• Review fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates
• Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients for estate and individual income taxes
• Read & summarize estate planning documents, and provide guidance on federal & state income and death tax treatment
• Research and consult on estate, gift and trust issues, including trustee/beneficiary issues, tax impact of estate administration, and generation skipping tax issues
• Help generate opportunities within existing clients and pursue new clients
• Prepare & present technical training to specialty groups and core tax department
• Manage all aspects of client relationships
• Lead and develop a team of professionals to complete engagements from start to finish

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus
• CPA or JD is required
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience with trusts and estates, and high net worth clients
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
• Strong tax research skills
• Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
