Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Strategic Planning Director for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.

Overview

Responsibilities include managing the enterprise wide planning process for a VP and above, directing monthly/quarterly reporting and annual operating plan development, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the enterprise wide planning process for a VP and above.
  • Directs monthly/quarterly reporting process and annual operating plan development. Ensures rationale is in sync with corporate strategic direction.
  • Develops annual business plan and quarterly forecast material and tools.
  • Coaches business planning participants on requirements, analysis, and deadlines.
  • Manages strategic projects, reports and analysis. Leads the development and direction of selected issues and projects.
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Highly preferred skills and experiences:
  • Experience supporting an Executive leader as a Chief of Staff making business-critical decisions on their behalf, standing in at virtual meetings and on-site as needed
  • Experience in financial and/or operational divisions of a Health Plan Business
  • Consulting experience including ability to develop compelling deliverables
  • Build relationships across the Client Ecosystem as it relates to the business unit
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business change management, and executive support.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, financial decisions, and staffing plans.
  • Ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Background in serving/working for clients via a consulting firm will help this candidate be successful.
