Overview

We are hiring for a Senior Director of Product to lead Chime’s growth product initiatives. In this role, you’ll define and execute the vision for how millions of new members discover, join, and fund their accounts with Chime. You’ll shape the future of our growth engine by building delightful, data-driven, and scalable consumer mobile experiences that accelerate acquisition, onboarding, and long-term engagement. You will lead a high-performing product team, partner cross-functionally, and play a critical role in driving the next wave of Chime’s member growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Chime’s growth product strategy, focusing on acquisition, activation, conversion, and member funding.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class product management team, fostering a culture of data-driven experimentation, velocity, and innovation.
  • Partner with design, engineering, marketing, data science, and compliance to launch and scale new mobile experiences that increase member adoption.
  • Leverage analytics, A/B testing, personalization, and funnel optimization to identify and scale the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Represent the growth vision and roadmap to executive leadership, advocating for investment in initiatives that drive measurable, sustainable growth.
  • Stay ahead of consumer mobile growth trends, industry best practices, and competitive dynamics to inform product direction.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years leading growth-oriented product teams in consumer mobile or fintech.
  • Proven track record of scaling acquisition and engagement for mobile products with millions of users.
  • Deep expertise in growth frameworks: funnel optimization, virality, referral, performance marketing integration, activation, and retention.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and grow product managers.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with fluency in A/B testing, data instrumentation, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with executive leadership.
  • Passion for financial inclusion and Chime’s mission to make banking better for everyday people.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments at leading consumer tech or fintech companies.

Compensation

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $292,400 and up to $372,800. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
