A globally prominent, reputable and rapidly growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a senior-level Information Technology Manager (IT) to lead IT activities and personnel for a multi-plant manufacturing campus in the greater Birmingham, AL area. Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager, this individual will serve on the senior leadership team. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead tactical and strategic direction for IT department ensuring proper support to all site functions.

Hire, mentor, and develop IT personnel for multiple manufacturing locations.

Ensure issues with network, hardware, and software are addressed quickly.

Seek out and capitalize on opportunities to improve technologies, systems, and processes.

Work directly with multiple departmental leaders to ensure IT systems and processes support and align with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.

8+ years of IT experience within manufacturing setting(s).

4+ years of formalized IT management experience.

Extensive familiarity with mainstream ERP systems (SAP, QAD, etc.)

Willingness and ability to travel regionally 10-20%.
