We are seeking a Senior Executive Director of Development to drive multimillion-dollar revenue and program goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will lead the implementation of effective community service, education, and communication programs while providing motivational leadership to inspire staff and volunteers. You can expect a base salary plus potential incentives up to 25% based on revenue performance. The Team You’ll Lead: You will lead a dedicated team with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and achieving community impact. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying, recruiting, and developing diverse leadership for revenue generation and health goals. Building meaningful community relationships to drive impact. Guiding your team towards revenue achievement and strategic goals. Overseeing recruitment, training, and development of staff members. Collaborating with senior leadership in the organization for community impact. Monitoring and evaluating annual plans, budgets, and community goals. Securing substantial sponsorships and donations from individuals. Conducting market analysis to support strategic planning and resource allocation. Accepting additional duties as assigned by senior leadership. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: We’re looking for a results-oriented professional with: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 8 years in non-profit fundraising or a similar field, with preference for health agency experience. At least 7 years of supervisory experience, preferably in sales or fundraising. Experience in securing 6- and 7-figure gifts. The capability to establish strategic plans and translate them into actionable goals. Experience managing high-level leaders in a complex environment. Knowledge of event fundraising tactics. Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Houston area as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
