Position Overview The Senior Director of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and building strong customer relationships. This role leads the development and execution of sales strategies, identifies new business opportunities and ensures alignment across teams to deliver customer value. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, results-driven professional with a passion for making measurable business impact. This position requires the candidate to be based in either Lexington, Kentucky or Kimberly, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales, increase profitability and expand market share. Serve as the executive point of contact for key customer accounts and territories. Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with high-value clients. Identify opportunities for new product offerings and service enhancements based on customer needs. Lead contract negotiations and close sales opportunities. Proactively resolve customer issues to maintain satisfaction and strengthen relationships. Use market research and data to anticipate trends and adjust strategy accordingly. Provide customer insights to internal teams to support product innovation and continuous improvement. Design and implement promotional initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive sales. Oversee inventory management with key customers to ensure product availability and quality.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field. At least 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience. Experience in the arts and crafts industry is preferred, but not required. Demonstrated success in strategic customer acquisition and account growth. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel nationwide, with some international travel required.
