Overview The Director of Operations is responsible for managing the association’s operations, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines, and oversees the day-to-day business activities as directed by the CEO. This role focuses on strategy by setting, developing operational strategies, setting direction, aligning departments with company goals, coordinates with members and affiliates during monthly meetings. Responsibilities Review Monthly P&L with CEO and accountant. Work directly with all departments to ensure efficiencies and set goals. Member Services - Assist employees with customer service operation and platform. Provide exceptional customer service to members and the public through surveys and outreach programs designed specifically for RALSC. Ensure Bylaws and Administrative Procedure Manual (APM) performance dates are met. Develop, modify, and implement operational policies and guidelines for the organization, in preparation for review by CEO. Developing and implementing guidelines for employee evaluations, recruitment, and promotion. Provide support to department heads by identifying challenges and assisting in the development and implementation of effective solutions. Directs and coordinates approved staff programs, projects, and major activities. Directs community projects and assistance. Manage procurement and resource allocation. Assist CEO with performance evaluations and employee assignments. Prepare weekly timecards for payroll. Liaison to benefits administrator. Maintain and acquire business relationships with affiliate partners Attend with or in lieu of CEO local meetings as they pertain to Real Estate issues for RALSC. Distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as directed. Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork approach and implement staff retainment processes such as recognition and reward systems. Performs duties as assigned by CEO. Travel to state and national conferences as directed by CEO. Qualifications Must be able to move and/or lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Bachelor’s degree or three-plus years work experience Excellent Leadership Skills In-depth Knowledge of Association Management and Operations Analytical skill to evaluate data and make operation decisions. Be highly organized and detail oriented. Have strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure and multitask
