Purpose of Position The Senior Director of Operations plans, coordinates, and grows the operations of his/her assigned area/locations with a hands-on approach. He/she leads their teams to deliver an optimal guest experience in our fast casual restaurant while focusing on increasing revenue. This position also continuously develops the skills and talents of the Directors of Operations/General Managers in the assigned areas/locations to promote growth opportunities. Qualifications Desired Previous multi-unit fast casual restaurant experience is desirable; otherwise, a minimum of three years as a general manager for at least two locations or concepts, demonstrating broader multi-unit leadership experience. Conduct final interviews for hourly team members to develop bench strength and sustain Capriotti’s culture. Assist Directors of Operations/Managers in training and certification processes, and monitor progress in utilizing CAP University for performance consistency. Develop business and financial acumen through review of financial reports and market data. Ensure brand initiatives are communicated throughout the region/locations. Assist in team discipline and performance management for the region/locations. Physical Demands This is a field position, requiring 80% of the time in regions/locations and 20% in an office. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Tolerance to cold/hot temperatures (walk-in cooler/freezer and grill). Working Conditions Approximately 90% of the time in a restaurant environment; 10% in an office. Performance Standards Area/location profitability Follows Capriotti’s systems and procedures.
