Senior Business Development Director – Transactional Practice

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Business Development Director to work with the Chief Marketing Officer in leading the transactions practice area. This role involves managing a team across the US, providing strategic and advisory support to the team and function. The transactions function includes: Real Estate Capital Markets Finance Technology We seek experienced legal business development professionals who have led teams and possess knowledge of the above areas. Ideally, this role will be based in New York, but we are open to considering candidates in the following locations based on experience: Washington DC Houston Los Angeles Responsibilities include: Collaborating with Practice Group Leaders and the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer (CMBDO) to develop strategic plans and set business development priorities for transactional practices. Driving revenue growth initiatives such as client targeting, market research, responding to RFPs, and client relationship reviews. Partnering with other MBD leads on cross-practice and cross-border opportunities; working with communications, branding, and awards teams to execute visibility initiatives and enhance brand awareness. Providing coaching and guidance to senior lawyers. Leading efforts related to key transactional clients, including setting direction, infrastructure, KPIs, and metrics. Building and managing an effective team of marketing and business development professionals across the U.S. The salary range for this position is $340,000 to $375,000 base.
