This role reports directly to the Sensor Innovation Portfolio Director. Share your resume with us today!Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as a customer / client advocate with client management of expectations and results.Provide technical oversight of our advance technology development programs.Lead project teams throughout the product delivery life cycle of the program, both hardware and software development, to support the client with critical missions.Provide strategic thought leadership regarding technical management, software / hardware delivery, system solutioning, and client management for multiple development projects.Assist senior leaders to define strategies and success for all aspects of contract management, financial performance, and budget control of existing programs.Provide oversight and review and debriefing executive leadership with financial estimates and ROMs for new development efforts.Maintain responsibility for the leadership and development of Department members of program execution professionals.Basic QualificationsA Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Business and 8 years of relevant Government Contracting experience.Must proven experience in delivering production representative test articles as well as verbal and written skills.Must be a proven leader with good organizational skills, attention to detail and work well as a leading member of a team.Secret clearance required to start.Demonstrated experience in the following areas:- Government Program Office in a resident capacity (Military or Government Civilian position, will possibly accept SETA experience)- DoD Acquisition training- Subcontract Management/Oversight- Cost estimating and Budget management- Organizational/IPT development- Leading a team, including subcontractors- Developing a Work Breakdown Structure- Developing Integrated Master Schedule- Risk identification and management- Performance ReportingPreferred QualificationsExperience leading hardware & software development.Transitioning programs from development to production / sustainment.Leading Proposal Teams/Proposal experience.Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.PMP Certification and experience working in an Agile development / Rapid Prototyping environment are a plus.Come break things (in a good way).
