Physician - Medical Director

This position involves providing hands-on primary care to the geriatric population while mentoring providers and ensuring high standards of clinical quality.

Medical Director Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive medical reviews related to utilization, quality assurance, and complex clinical cases to facilitate timely, evidence-based decisions. Provide primary care services to residents at skilled nursing facilities. Collaborate with and mentor healthcare providers to improve care delivery and outcomes. Participate actively in clinical and administrative meetings to support organizational goals. Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures to uphold quality standards. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with regulations.
Medical Director Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted New York State medical license. Experience working with geriatric patients and familiarity with skilled nursing environments is preferred.
