Medical Director Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive medical reviews related to utilization, quality assurance, and complex clinical cases to facilitate timely, evidence-based decisions. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with regulations. Medical Director Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted New York State medical license. Experience working with geriatric patients and familiarity with skilled nursing environments is preferred.
