A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics, with a focus on school-aged children from kindergarten through 6th grade. Qualifications:
* Active SLP Idaho License is required
* Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
* Experience working with pediatric caseloads in school settings
* Knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and management
* Familiarity with EDPlan software for writing IEPs is a plus
Job Details:
* Contract position starting August 2026 and ending May 2027
* Work schedule: 2-3 days per week on-site, with one day per month increasing to 3 days to lead and hold IEP meetings
* Caseload consists of approximately 15 students; 13 students primarily require speech therapy services
* Ability to manage caseload effectively while collaborating with educational staff and families
* Hybrid work option available for 1 day per week focused on IEP document preparation
Responsibilities:
* Conduct speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions for K-6 students
* Develop, implement, and update IEPs using EDPlan software
* Lead monthly IEP meetings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
* Maintain detailed records and documentation to track student progress
* Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student needs
