We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Medical Surgical Services to lead a talented team in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and grow a thriving medical-surgical department at a leading acute care facility in the heart of Dallas, TX.

What You’ll Do Provide strategic and operational leadership to the medical-surgical services department.

Ensure high standards of nursing care, patient safety, and staff engagement.

Develop and monitor budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to optimize performance.

Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Serve as a mentor and coach to department managers, nurses, and clinical staff, ensuring their professional development and retention.

Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and peers to enhance the patient experience and clinical outcomes.

What You Bring RN license in the State of Texas (or compact state) Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and deliver measurable results Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Passion for patient-centered care and nursing excellence
