ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable Marketplace Culture Booked Revenue Targets GP % and GP $ Attainment Big Relationships WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Lead, Manage and hold accountable marketplace sales team to reach designated sales and profit goals. Lead the Marketplace Sales team with clear vision and direction, inspiring the team to do their best work. Accurately forecast sales and other key metrics that will impact the company’s direction. Partner closely with marketplace leaders to ensure alignment, remove barriers and accelerate progress towards shared business objectives. Own and model the Minnesota marketplace culture, reinforcing Core Values, and ensuring a cohesive, high-performance environment across teams. Champion the use of the Entrepreneurial Operating System within the local marketplace to help drive clarity and results. Maintain sales oversight within the marketplace - staying on top of trends and industry developments. Understand what elements are unique to each marketplace and use that knowledge to make informed decisions to stay competitive. Keep the Executive Leadership Team and other stakeholders informed about the local team’s progress, challenges and opportunities and leverage resources necessary to drive results within the marketplace’s sales team. Hold and grow key relationships within the local marketplace including but not limited to customers, Architecture + Design Firms, Corporate Real Estate and other market influencers. WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: 15+ years of proven sales success in commercial office furniture, architectural products, AV or related industry. 8+ years leading and developing senior-level leaders, with demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and scale organizations. Proven ability to lead leaders and drive results through others. Highly skilled at working with cross functional teams to accomplish organizational goals. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, inspire, and align diverse stakeholders — from employees to executive leaders to clients. Ability to anticipate challenges, evaluate options, and mobilize resources to deliver innovative and practical solutions. Commitment to modeling company values and driving a cohesive, inclusive, and high-performance marketplace culture. Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities, balance short-term execution with long-term strategy, and deliver results. Travel Requirements: up to 15% Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for other forms of compensation, including commissions and bonuses.
