Maintenance Director-Nursing Home
Located in the Bronx, NY A long term care skilled nursing facility located in the  Bronx, NY is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable  Maintenance Director. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Director-Nursing Home: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the community in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies Regular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performance Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedules Schedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairs Provide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashion Performs routine repairs of building including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical and painting Maintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspections Coordinating department operations, budgets and monitoring expenditures Must be able to recruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise maintenance staff Ensure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standards Maintain all DOH logs inspections Requirements of the Maintenance Director-Nursing Home: Must have current experience as a Maintenance Director in long term care Must have knowledge of DOH state and federal regulations Must be extremely hands-on with strong maintenance knowledge Must possess the mechanical skills necessary for accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste Hudson View Network is a medical recruiting firm whose goal is to bridge  exceptional  talent to  superior  institutions.
