JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing strategic leadership over multiple complex projects and/or programs and teams. Responsibilities include interfacing, developing and managing relationship with key client leaders, additionally, validating proposed solutions prior to closing a sale, performing due diligence for new sales or project opportunities to ensure clear understanding of the client and/or scope of work being requested. Reviewing key solution assumptions, serving as the liaison between operations and new clients, ensure successful implementation of services for new clients and transitioning management of project, program or client from Revenue Cycle Integration to Operations or the Client Delivery Team. This is a key leadership role, with high visibility and impact on the client, internal stakeholders and the overall operational performance of the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Others may be assigned. For a defined portfolio/ of complex and strategic project initiatives, (e.g., new client onboarding, acquisitions, divestitures, system implementation, optimization, and stabilization) leads specific complex project initiatives and leads team members by defining, directing, and executing defined project portfolio/program initiatives which are critical to the success of the company’s business. For a defined portfolio of complex and strategic project initiatives, leads, and provide business insight for continuous improvement of project planning, execution, closure, communication and governance provided to internal and external clients during a project initiative to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of project and financial objectives Identifies, defines, and directs the implementation of continuous improvements to project procedures, processes, and templates to align with Conifer “best practices”. Develops skill sets of team members to support succession planning. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (Specify Revenue/Budget/Expense): For a defined project portfolio/program of complex strategic project initiatives, capital and expense costs are equal to or below those included in the approved financial model. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Significant experience interfacing with clients Significant experience in defining strategies, defining approach and resource requirements, as well as leading strategic project initiatives in support of the company’s strategies and goals Significant experience in leading teams both as direct reports and in a matrix environment with minimal direction and authority to support achievement of the company’s strategies and goals Significant project management experience including directing project programs and directing and leading multiple projects concurrently Significant experience in and an advanced understanding of business process outsourcing Significant experience interacting with senior leadership Significant experience and advanced skills in influencing, negotiation, and communication Significant experience in presentation and communication skills Advanced organizational, customer service, interpersonal, facilitation, and time management skills Conifer requires its candidates, as applicable and as permitted by law, to obtain and provide confirmation of all required vaccinations and screenings prior to the start of employment. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job. Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent business experience. (Preference for Business, Healthcare Administration) Master’s degree preferred but not required PMP (PMI certified project manager) preferred but not required Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading program level portfolios for strategic project initiatives. Minimum of 8 - 10 years project management experience in a matrixed environment Minimum of 8 - 10 years’ experience in revenue cycle operations.
