Local Team Collaboration

Join our close-knit team of 32 physicians and 7 APPs at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Leading the hospitalist and working with the C-suite to achieve the highest standards for core measures and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

ABIM or ABFM certified with significant prior hospitalist Director experience, preferred at a large tertiary, academic hospital. 100% administrative (with 2 Co-Associate Directors, each working 100% clinically) Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Attend department head meetings and ongoing meetings with the C-suite.

Practice in the Heart of the Savannah

Scheduling

Monday – Friday with the ability to work up to 4 clinical shifts/month.

Key Responsibilities

Lead efforts in utilization management, compliance, and clinical documentation improvement at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Collaborate with hospital administration to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings and provide ongoing education and support to our network of physicians.
