We are seeking a *high-output Automotive Finance Director* with a proven ability to run and maintain *$2,200+ PVR (Per Vehicle Retail)* while keeping *Contracts in Transit (CIT) under 6 days* — consistently. *Key Performance Expectations:*
* *Maintain and enforce a $2,200+ PVR standard* across all finance deals. * *Drive CIT to under 6 days* through disciplined deal funding processes and lender relationship management. * Maintain *80%+ product penetration* (warranty, GAP, maintenance, etc.). * Lead F&I operations to exceed departmental gross and net targets monthly. * Deliver an elite client experience in alignment with a high-performance brand standard.
*Responsibilities:F&I Operations & Profitability*
* Oversee all F&I operations, ensuring every deal is structured to optimize reserve and product gross. * Analyze daily deal flow and metrics, making immediate adjustments to uphold performance standards. * Execute a consistent, repeatable process across all F&I staff to maintain deal integrity and PVR targets.
*Contracts in Transit (CIT) Control*
* Implement and manage a *daily CIT audit and follow-up process* to ensure 100% deal funding accuracy. * Resolve funding issues proactively with lenders, title clerks, and sales staff. * Train and hold accountable all F&I managers to submit clean deals within 24 hours.
*Leadership & Team Development*
* Recruit, train, and lead a top-performing F&I team with a results-driven, ethical, and high-energy culture. * Coach team members on advanced objection handling, menu presentation, and deal structuring. * Provide real-time feedback, role-playing, and weekly performance reviews.
*Compliance & Risk Management*
* Ensure all F&I transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. * Maintain a clean deal jacket and documentation process with daily compliance audits. * Conduct monthly compliance reviews with legal/F&I compliance partners.
*Customer Experience & Retention*
* Maintain a seamless, premium experience throughout the F&I process. * Uphold fast funding without sacrificing the personalized, luxury buying experience. * Support a high CSI by limiting F&I wait times and offering value-driven product presentations.
*Required Qualifications:*
* Minimum *5+ years of F&I management experience* with proven PVR above $2,200. * Demonstrated ability to maintain *CIT below 6 days* in a high-volume setting. * Experience with luxury or high-performance vehicle brands preferred. * Strong lender relationships and mastery of deal funding requirements. * Proficient with DMS/F&I tools such as Dealertrack, RouteOne, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds. * Expert-level knowledge of compliance regulations and best practices. * Ability to lead with urgency, discipline, and results-orientation.
