Job Title: Executive Director Location: Paramus, NJ Industry: Private Duty Home Care Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead and manage our private duty home care agency in Paramus, NJ . The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall operations, strategic direction, growth, and quality of services provided. This leadership role requires a strong balance of healthcare management expertise, business acumen, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional client care. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the agency.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to home care services.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of clinical and administrative staff.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and business development strategies to support agency growth and sustainability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and referral sources.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and ensure high-quality care delivery.
Monitor client satisfaction, care outcomes, and employee engagement to continually improve services.
Represent the agency at community events and industry forums to enhance visibility and reputation.
Report regularly to the Board of Directors or agency owner regarding operations, KPIs, and business initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry.
Proven track record of managing clinical and administrative teams in a regulated environment.
Strong understanding of private duty home care operations, reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive growth and deliver high-quality client services.
Familiarity with New Jersey Department of Health home care regulations preferred.
