About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Regional Business Development to spearhead its growth efforts in the New England region. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing commercial opportunities through strategic business development and providing regional leadership. This role involves close collaboration with the management teams to lead business development activities, including client management, sales planning, and proposal coordination. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering employee engagement, managing office operations, and upholding the company's brand in the region.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the AEC industry, including at least 10 years in a leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic planning, sales cycle management, and resource management. Strong analytical, communication, and team-building skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain client relationships. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong work ethic, be adept at problem-solving, and have the capacity to manage and develop a team effectively. The position demands a professional who can create a positive work environment, manage regional financial targets, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
