Director of Perioperative & Surgical Services

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight and 24/7 leadership for all perioperative services
Drive operational excellence through quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and best practices
Lead and develop high-performing surgical teams of 50+ professionals
Manage multi-million dollar departmental budget and capital equipment planning
Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Foster physician partnerships and strengthen community relationships
Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and program development
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, AORN)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Current RN licensure in state of practice
Minimum 3 years perioperative leadership experience
Strong financial acumen and business operations background
Excellence in team leadership and organizational development

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
CNOR certification
CSSM certification
Experience with robotic surgery programs
