Director of Perioperative Services & Surgical Operations

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our state-of-the-art perioperative department. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all perioperative services
• Drive clinical excellence and maintain highest standards of patient safety and quality care
• Manage departmental budget, resource allocation, and capital equipment planning
• Lead and develop high-performing surgical teams through mentorship and coaching
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with surgeons, staff, and stakeholders
• Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
• Drive growth initiatives and program development in surgical services
• Optimize operational efficiency and resource utilization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN licensure in state of practice
• Minimum 3+ years leadership experience in surgical services/OR management
• Strong operational and financial management experience
• Excellence in team leadership and interpersonal communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
• CNOR certification
• CSSM certification
• Experience with surgical service line development
