Overview of the Team
You’ll translate portfolio strategy into market impact—owning positioning, pricing & packaging recommendations, launches, and enablement. You’ll directly manage a Product Marketing Manager, establishing operating rhythms and standards. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships to drive revenue, adoption, and expansion.
Role Overview:
You are the execution engine and people leader for Product Marketing. You’ll translate portfolio strategy into clear positioning, pricing & packaging recommendations, launch plans, and enablement that improve win rates, accelerate deal velocity, and drive adoption/expansion. You’ll build operating cadences, coach PMMs, and ensure IPC shows up with a differentiated narrative in every market we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coach Product Marketing Manager; set goals, feedback cadences, and quality bars.
Establish repeatable GTM processes (readiness gates, launch tiers, retros) and uphold operational rigor across regions.
Own positioning/messaging for key products, solutions, and personas; ensure crisp value articulation across the funnel.
Build and maintain value frameworks, ICPs, buyer personas, and narrative architecture with the VP.
Develop engagement and operational model for the Voice of the Customer program to include a Product Advisory Council and other trader engagement initiatives to understand and objectively articulate the needs of the customer.
Translate portfolio pricing & packaging strategy into market-ready offers, bundles, and guidance; partner with Product, Finance, and Sales to operationalize changes.
Lead tiered launches for products/features: define goals, success metrics, cross-functional plans, and post-launch optimization.
Drive adoption and expansion programs with Customer Success and Partnerships.
Stand up a pragmatic insights engine (market sizing, trends, win/loss, competitive plays) and translate insights into roadmap input and field plays.
Equip global Sales/channel teams with playbooks, battlecards, demos, and training; measure content utilization and impact on win rates and sales cycle time.
Support thought leadership, case studies, and analyst interactions; cultivate customer references that reinforce our narrative
How You Will Make an Impact:
Launch predictably: every Tier-1/Tier-2 launch hits readiness criteria, pipeline goals, and adoption targets.
Elevate win rates and deal velocity through persona-led messaging and sharp enablement.
Improve attach/expansion via pricing/packaging updates and lifecycle programs.
Feed the roadmap with structured market, customer, and competitive insight.
Predictable, well-orchestrated launches that meet pipeline and adoption targets.
Improved win rates and faster deal cycles through targeted enablement.
Measurable attach/expansion from pricing/packaging and lifecycle programs.
A high-performing PMM (and future team) operating with clear standards and impact.
Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:
8–10+ years in B2B Product Marketing (SaaS/fintech or enterprise tech) with 3+ years leading PMMs/teams.
Track record shipping high-impact launches and driving measurable sales enablement outcomes.
Experience operationalizing pricing/packaging and commercialization motions.
Strong storytelling, writing, and executive-level communication skills; comfortable with technical content.
Data fluency and proficiency with CRM/marketing automation and BI tools.
Bachelor’s degree required
Desired Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with capital-markets workflows and regulatory environments (e.g., MiFID II/ESMA, FINRA, FCA).
Category design, analyst relations, and ABM experience; comfort presenting to C-suite/Board.
Exposure to PLG/PQA signals; enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot/Seismic) and stacks (Salesforce, CPQ/CLM, Marketo/Eloqua).
