This role is part of S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) Private Markets marketing team and is responsible for leading product marketing initiatives to enhance awareness, adoption, and engagement of S&P DJI’s private market offerings. The focus is on crafting compelling product narratives and content strategies that resonate with target audiences in the evolving private equity and alternative investment landscape. About The Role Grade Level (for internal use): 12. The team collaborates with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of product marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share. Marketing responsibilities include product launches, content creation, go-to-market strategies, and client education to position S&P DJI as a leader in the private markets space, leveraging data, research, and insights. Responsibilities Content Strategy and Development: Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that highlights S&P DJI’s private market products. Create high-quality content (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, educational materials) communicating product features, benefits, and market insights. Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine positioning and messaging for S&P DJI’s private market products. Craft narratives that highlight the value propositions for institutional investors, private equity firms, and financial advisors. Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of GTM strategies for new product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful rollout and market penetration. Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. Account-Based Marketing: Engage with key partners and clients to promote awareness and adoption. Develop tailored marketing strategies to nurture relationships and drive product usage. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure success of content and product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Qualifications 7+ years of professional experience in content/product marketing within financial services, with a strong preference for private markets. Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation with a portfolio of campaigns and materials demonstrating effective messaging and audience engagement. In-depth understanding of private equity, alternative investments, and the product development lifecycle. Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results. Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred). Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing in private markets or financial services. Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics (social media, content marketing, email campaigns). Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and external partners. Compensation and Benefits Compensation information (US candidates): S&P Global states the anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,000 to $165,000. Final base salary depends on location, experience, skills, and certifications. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional benefits.
