We are seeking a Director of Surgical Services to provide both strategic and operational leadership for our perioperative services in Las Vegas, NV . This high-impact leadership role is responsible for advancing surgical programs, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, and overseeing a growing surgical services department with 110+ FTEs and expanding OR capacity . Key Responsibilities Provide 24/7 oversight of OR, Pre-op/PACU, PAT, and SPD departments.

Lead strategic growth initiatives to expand surgical services and case volume.

Enforce standards of care and ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations .

Manage departmental budgets, equipment, and resource allocation .

Recruit, mentor, and coach staff (charge nurses, supervisors, and future managers).

Actively participate in hospital committees and foster effective communication across teams.

Drive quality improvement and performance initiatives to strengthen patient outcomes.

Build strong relationships with physicians, staff, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Active RN license (state of practice or Compact)

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Surgical Services (Manager level or higher)

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration

CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)

CSSM (Certified Surgical Services Manager)

Competitive salary: $106,766 – $160,160/year

Incentive bonus potential: Up to 17.5%
