Are you a dynamic leader with exceptional business skills who loves taking on new challenges? Our busy hotel is looking for a stellar director of sales and marketing to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events.
We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly Responsibilities: Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies
Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with patrons
Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance
Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek new business
Qualifications: Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices
Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or hospitality
5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
