Responsibilities

Direct oversight of the hotel’s Sales and Marketing operation.

Manage the Sales and Marketing budget, P&L, and revenue forecasting.

Lead advertising, marketing initiatives, business plan development, and ownership meetings.

Supervise sales managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff.

Recruit, hire, train, and coach sales personnel to meet company revenue goals.

Train and monitor group and transient contractual agreements, quoting rates, and retention, reactivation, and acquisition account management.

Report directly to the General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales.

Maintain strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

6+ years of progressive hotel sales experience (preferably with Hyatt).

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.

Previous pre‑opening experience preferred for opening hotels.

Results‑driven, energetic, and focused with a proven track record in high‑volume concepts.

Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills.

Hospitality or related degree is an asset.

High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, and the ability to improve the bottom line.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is a salaried position with compensation ranging from $140,600–$179,200.
