Skywire's coverage extends to major data centers, leading cloud providers, multi-dwelling residential units, and commercial buildings.The Skywire team lives and works in the Greater NYC area.Position Summary:The Director of Residential Sales will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Skywire's residential broadband and voice services within the multi-family and MDU market. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on residential sales / market share growth, optimizing right-of-entry (ROE) processes, and driving unit and revenue growth through property owner and developer partnerships. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in telecom, real estate access agreements, and direct, call center, and agent sales team leadership within the NY metro area.Key Responsibilities:Lead Residential MDU Growth Strategy Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for residential services in apartment buildings, condominiums, student housing, and mixed-use developments. Own Skywire's residential "right-of-entry" strategy, including relationship-building with real estate developers, property managers, and ownership groups. Secure ROE and "bulk" agreements to establish Skywire as the preferred or exclusive ISP partner for targeted properties. Drive Unit Growth, Sales Execution & Performance Set and manage aggressive unit growth and subscriber acquisition goals across the tri-state area. Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and proposal through contract execution and service delivery coordination. Forecast sales metrics, pipeline growth, and deal closure rates accurately. Build & Lead a High-Performing Residential Sales Team Hire, coach, and manage a team of Account Executives and Sales Representatives focused on MDU and residential community acquisition. Define and manage compensation structures, territory planning, and KPIs. Deliver training and professional development programs focused on telecom product knowledge, bulk sales strategies, and ROI modeling. Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Legal, Finance, Service Delivery, and Network Operations to streamline contracting, provisioning, and customer activation. Serve as a liaison with Marketing to develop campaigns targeting building owners and property managers. Ensure post-sale customer satisfaction and contract compliance through strong internal coordination. Industry Engagement & Brand Building Represent Skywire at real estate, telecom, and broadband industry events. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the MDU development community to expand brand presence and awareness. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory issues affecting the broadband residential space. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in telecom, MDU/residential sales, or real estate access agreements. Familiarity with residential broadband and voice product offerings. Proven track record of closing high-value, multi-year bulk or ROE deals. Experience managing and scaling high-performing sales teams in competitive markets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and financial modeling skills. Knowledge of New York-area real estate and telecommunications ecosystem is a strong plus. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ROI-based deal modeling, and telecom provisioning processes. Existing relationships with NYC-area developers, property managers, and real estate groups a plus.
