Annual Salary: $105,000.00 + Full state benefits

Job-related travel is occasional.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree and six years of professional experience in human resources management, or a closely related field including three years in an administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of professional or technical public sector human resources management experience for each year of the required education.

Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for all OKDHS employees.

The incumbent will perform expert-level work involving complex payroll reviews and audits of documents, work processes, and submitted payroll documents prior to completing payroll; ensures compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and other applicable OKDHS policies and procedures; reviews and/or maintains policy, procedures and best practices for the activities and services of the Payroll Unit.

This position is also the garnishment administrator and responsible for issuing payments to creditors and voluntary deduction companies.

This position will also be responsible for supervising three payroll staff.
