About the Opportunity A growing, privately owned dental group in Indiana is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Director of Operations to lead strategy, growth, and team performance across multiple practices.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands both people and processes , excels at training and motivating teams , and has a proven ability to drive performance through data, systems, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor practice managers and treatment coordinators across multiple locations
Analyze call data and performance metrics to identify weaknesses and opportunities
Build training systems to improve case acceptance, scheduling, and patient experience
Partner with ownership to implement operational strategies that support growth and profitability
Maintain full P&L oversight , managing budgets, expenses, and revenue performance
Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency across all offices
Coach and develop leaders to strengthen accountability, engagement, and decision-making
Collaborate on new location openings, facility upgrades, and system integrations
Ensure compliance with state, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in multi-site dental operations leadership
Proven success managing P&L and improving KPI performance across multiple offices
Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to lead through influence
Experience coaching treatment coordinators and administrative teams
Analytical mindset with the ability to pull, interpret, and act on operational data
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent operational experience)
