Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Director of Operationsto lead and oversee all CMPS activities throughout the state of Arizona. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, solutions-oriented leader with extensive experience managing large teams, client accounts, and operational performance in the private security or protective services industry.
This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing profitability, and maintaining the highest operational standards while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence among team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all day-to-day operations within Arizona, including personnel, scheduling, and client satisfaction. * Supervise regional operation managers, site supervisors, and field teams across multiple locations. * Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS)regulations and client contract requirements. * Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive revenue growth. * Serve as the direct liaison between Arizona operations and corporate leadership. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners. * Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of staff to maintain CMPS standards. * Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accountability and operational transparency. * Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and incident reviews to uphold service quality. * Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and compliance inspections.
Qualifications
* 7+ yearsof experience in security operations, corporate management, or a related leadership role. * Proven track record in multi-site operational leadership and client relations. * Strong understanding of Arizona DPS security regulations and compliance standards. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in workforce scheduling, budgeting, and project management tools. * Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively. * Military or law enforcement background preferred but not required. * Holds an active Arizona DPS Armed Guard Registration or agrees to secure the required credentials upon employment.

Schedule
* Full-time, salaried position * Monday through Friday with after-hours and weekend availability for critical incidents
