At the Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that empowers children with autism and supports their families. With multiple clinics providing both center-based and home-based services, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee and elevate the operational management of our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the operational performance across all service delivery centers and administrative functions
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, employee satisfaction, and quality of services
  • Establish policies, procedures, and KPIs aligned with organizational objectives; regularly monitor performance
  • Oversee the financial health of the centers, including budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and HR to streamline onboarding and professional development for Behavior Technicians (BTs) and administrative staff
  • Foster a positive, collaborative organizational culture that emphasizes communication, teamwork, and professional growth
  • Drive initiatives for community outreach, marketing, and business development
  • Oversee facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards
  • Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Handle crisis situations and operational challenges, providing swift and effective solutions
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation to maintain optimal staff coverage
  • Participate in staff engagement activities, team-building events, and professional development programs
  • Regularly report to senior leadership on key initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic progress

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of management experience overseeing large, multi-site operations (healthcare or service-based preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven success driving organizational growth
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to engage empathetically with children, families, and staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to implement processes that drive long-term growth while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Experience in ABA therapy operations
  • Willingness to travel between clinical sites
