What will you be doing :
The Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for critical service functions within a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment at IHCS in Florida and Clinical Medical Services (CMS) in Puerto Rico. Responsibilities include managing service request intake, utilization management, staffing assessments, streamlining operations, verifying home health start of care (SOC), confirming DME delivery, and resolving customer escalations. The role also involves leading new client implementations, improving operational efficiencies, coordinating with project management, implementing new solutions, and ensuring efficient onboarding aligned with client expectations.
What will you come with :
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Master's preferred)
3-5 years of operations leadership experience in healthcare, managed care, or TPA
Experience with client implementation and onboarding
Strong understanding of utilization management, medical necessity, and regulatory compliance (CMS, NCQA, URAC)
Skills in workflow design, metric tracking, and performance improvement (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data dashboards (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration
