Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
Oversee the quality and delivery of patient care within our home health program.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure effective coordination and supervision of clinical services.
Deliver direct patient care as needed, including infusions, assessments, and fill-ins during staff absences.
Team Management & Development
Supervise, coach, and evaluate nursing staff — empowering them to excel in delivering compassionate care.
Conduct ongoing competency reviews, performance evaluations, and in-service training programs.
Lead clinical orientations for new hires and ensure completion of competency requirements.
Program Growth & Innovation
Actively participate in expanding and enhancing our hospital-at-home program.
Collaborate with internal leadership and community partners to promote referrals and strengthen relationships.
Represent BrightStar Care during Joint Commission surveys and help maintain accreditation standards.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance
Review documentation, progress notes, and clinical summaries for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain thorough clinical records and audit reports.

Qualifications
Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of care
5 years of nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of clinical leadership experience (home health)
Strong knowledge of federal/state home health regulations; Joint Commission experience a plus
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, CPR/BLS certification, and up-to-date TB test
