Provide leadership and direction to the medical-surgical unit, including staff management, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards within the medical-surgical unit. Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff members. Manage budgetary resources and optimize operational efficiency within the medical-surgical unit. Serve as a liaison between the medical-surgical unit and other departments within the healthcare facility. Candidate requirements Accredited Nursing Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree, currently licensed in the relevant state, BLS. 5 years of clinical nursing experience, 2 years experience as a supervisor, charge nurse, or clinical manager. Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based nursing practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Commitment to promoting a culture of patient-centered care and staff satisfaction.
